Payment Gateways

Flutterwave

Pan-African payments in more than a dozen local currencies.

Flutterwave is the broadest African option in the suite. It reaches Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Uganda and further, accepting cards, mobile money and bank transfers, and settles in naira, shillings, cedi, rand, CFA francs and more — plus USD, EUR and GBP. For a business selling across several African markets, that is one connection instead of several.

Inside Flutterwave

What you get when you switch it on.

Multi-market African coverage

Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Uganda among others are served by a single connection, which is the reason to choose Flutterwave over a single-country gateway.

Mobile money

Customers pay from a mobile wallet, which across much of East and West Africa reaches far more people than card acceptance alone.

Bank transfers

Payment direct from a bank account is offered alongside cards, so customers choose the route that works for the amount they are paying.

Card payments

Card acceptance runs through the same integration, covering both local cardholders and customers paying from outside the continent.

Thirteen local currencies

NGN, KES, GHS, ZAR, UGX, RWF, TZS, ZMW, ZWL, ETB, XOF, XAF and MUR are supported, with USD, EUR and GBP for international customers.

API key settings page

Flutterwave credentials are entered once on the settings page to establish secure communication between GetBizApps and the gateway.

Plan payments

On the superadmin side, customers pay for their platform plan through Flutterwave in whichever supported currency suits them.

Service payment collection

Companies accept payment for bookings, appointments, spa services, course purchases, hotel and room reservations and similar services.

Where it earns its place

What teams switch Flutterwave on for.

01

Selling across several African markets

A business with customers in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana bills each in their own currency from one gateway rather than integrating three.

02

Reaching customers without cards

Mobile money and bank transfer sit next to cards at checkout, so payment does not depend on the customer holding a card.

03

Taking international payment too

USD, EUR and GBP support means a customer paying from outside Africa uses the same checkout as one paying in naira.

How add-ons work

Flutterwave is not a separate app.

It runs inside GetBizApps Suite, on the same data, behind the same login.

01

Switch it on

Enable the add-on from your workspace. It appears alongside everything else already running — no separate install, no second login.

02

It shares your data

The add-on reads and writes the same customers, staff and records as the rest of the Suite, so nothing has to be re-keyed or synced.

03

Your roles still apply

Existing permissions carry across. Decide which teams see the add-on, and what they are allowed to do inside it.

04

Your price adjusts

It joins your subscription as one more enabled add-on, and comes off again if you turn it back off.

FAQ

Flutterwave questions.

What people ask before switching this one on.

The add-on covers Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Uganda among others. It is the broadest African gateway in the suite, which makes it the right choice when your customers are spread across several countries rather than concentrated in one.

Flutterwave supports NGN, KES, GHS, ZAR, UGX, RWF, TZS, ZMW, ZWL, ETB, XOF, XAF and MUR, plus USD, EUR and GBP. Customers can therefore be billed in their own currency whether they are in Lagos, Nairobi or London.

Cards, mobile money and bank transfers. Offering all three at checkout matters in markets where card ownership is lower than mobile wallet use, because it removes the card as a barrier to completing a sale.

You enter your Flutterwave credentials on the add-on's API key settings page, which establishes secure communication between GetBizApps and the gateway. The same setup structure is used as for the other payment gateways in the suite.

On the superadmin side, platform plan payments. On the company side, payment for bookings, appointments, spa services, course purchases, hotel and room reservations and other similar services, with transactions tracked in real time.

Flutterwave is a payment gateway add-on for GetBizApps Suite that handles payments across African markets including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Uganda. It accepts cards, mobile money and bank transfers, and supports NGN, KES, GHS, ZAR, UGX, RWF, TZS, ZMW, ZWL, ETB, XOF, XAF and MUR alongside USD, EUR and GBP. It is available at https://getbizapps.com/addons/flutterwave.

Flutterwave is billed as one of the add-ons in your GetBizApps Suite subscription. Your total is built from the add-ons you switch on, your number of users and the duration you commit to, in USD or INR. You can model it on the pricing page at https://getbizapps.com/pricing.

Flutterwave runs inside GetBizApps Suite, so you need the Suite itself. There is no separate installation or login — enable the add-on and it appears alongside everything else you are already running, on the same data and the same permissions.

Yes. Add-ons can be switched on and off as your needs change, and your subscription adjusts to match what is currently enabled.
