GetBizApps

Sales & CRM

From the first enquiry to the commission it earns.

Leads with the source they arrived from, a pipeline that adds up to a number, quotations with version history and real stock behind them, orders and invoices that carry the same line items through, and commission calculated as the invoice posts.

GetBizApps runs your own pipeline; it does not find it for you. There is no contact database to buy into, no email-sequence marketing engine and no call dialler. Lead capture is from your forms, your portal and your team — the Find Google Leads and IndiaMART connectors are in development, and the Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive connectors sync with a CRM you already run rather than replacing this one.

The cycle you already run

Capture, qualify, quote, close, collect.

Every sales team runs the same loop. What differs is how many of the steps end with somebody retyping what the previous step already knew.

  1. 1

    Capture

Enquiries recorded as leads with the source they came from, so you can see which channels produce work and which only produce activity.

  2. 2

    Qualify

Deals moved through the stages your process actually uses, each carrying a value and an expected close date, with calls and meetings logged against them.

  3. 3

    Quote

Numbered, itemised quotations priced from real warehouse stock, revised as versions rather than overwritten, and sent through an approval step.

  4. 4

    Close

An accepted quotation converts to a sales order and then a sales invoice, carrying its line items, discounts and tax rather than being rebuilt.

  5. 5

    Collect

The invoice is posted, commission is calculated on it there and then, and the follow-up that has not happened yet is a reminder rather than a hope.

Coverage

The sales checklist, and what answers each line.

Two modules cover this ground, and which you need depends on how much of it you do. Each row names the add-on that answers it, so the overlap is visible rather than something you discover after buying.

  • Leads, with the source recorded
    CRM

Every enquiry captured with where it came from, so channel performance is a report rather than an argument.

  • Contacts linked to their company
    CRM

An account's history survives a change of contact, and one company's several contacts stay together.

  • A pipeline with stages you define
    CRM

Deals carrying a value and an expected close date, so the pipeline adds up to a figure instead of a list of names.

  • Accounts with billing and shipping profiles
    Sales

The heavier account record, with assigned users and an activity stream, for businesses that sell to organisations rather than people.

  • Weighted opportunity forecasting
    Sales

Opportunities carrying both a value and a probability, so the pipeline reads as a weighted figure rather than a gross one.

  • Quotations with revision history
    Quotation

Versions in a parent-child relationship with automatic numbering, comparison between two versions, and rollback when the earlier scope wins.

  • Quoting only what you can supply
    Quotation

Products selected from warehouse inventory with unit price populated and stock checked in real time as the quotation is built.

  • Quote to order to invoice
    Sales

Each step converts into the next with itemised pricing, discounts and tax carried through, and editing permissions controlled per step.

  • Calls, meetings and follow-ups
    CRM

Logged against the lead, contact or deal they concern, with a due date, so the next step is not only in somebody's head.

  • Context the next person will look for
    Notes

Notes kept personal or shared with named colleagues, so what was said on a call is where the call is, not in a chat thread.

  • Nothing lapsing because nobody was told
    Reminder

Reminders attached to sales, purchase and lead records, firing a set number of days ahead by email, SMS, Slack, Telegram or WhatsApp.

  • Commission on a posted invoice
    Commission

Percentage, fixed or tiered plans calculated as the invoice posts, approved before payable, tracked from pending to paid.

  • Territories, targets and payout limits
    Sales Agent

Multi-level territories down to postal code, gross, net or margin-based calculation, enforced minimums and maximums, and manager approval before clearing.

  • Enquiry forms that become records
    Form Builder

Twelve field types on a secure public URL, with submissions mapped into CRM and Sales records rather than re-keyed from a table.

In your industry

The same pipeline, a different conversation.

The module list barely changes between trades. What a salesperson is actually doing on a Tuesday changes completely — and that is usually what decides whether a system fits.

Real Estate

Remembering what was said before the next call

Agency selling is a long sequence of short conversations, and the thing that loses a deal is arriving at the fourth one without the first three. Leads carry their source, notes carry what was actually discussed, and reminders make the follow-up a scheduled event rather than a good intention. Commission at the other end is calculated against a percentage, fixed or tiered plan as the invoice posts, which is what stops month end becoming a negotiation.

Manufacturing

Quoting what the floor can actually make

A factory quote is only as good as the stock behind it. Products are selected from warehouse inventory with the unit price populated and stock checked in real time, so a quotation is not a promise the floor cannot keep. Revisions are kept as numbered versions against the original with comparison and rollback, which matters when a specification changes four times and the customer eventually wants version two.

Trading & Distribution

Volume, margin and who has not paid

Distribution sells the same catalogue repeatedly, so the work is throughput rather than persuasion. Quotes convert to sales orders and sales orders to sales invoices with line items, discounts and tax carried through, and the sales invoice report gives customer bills, payments received and outstanding balances by customer or month. Agents working defined territories are paid on gross, net or margin, with the limits on each plan enforced automatically.

Education

An admissions season, run as a pipeline

Enrolment is a sales process that nobody in the building calls one. Enquiries arrive through a form you built — twelve field types on a public URL — and convert into CRM records rather than a spreadsheet somebody maintains. Stages match the admissions steps you actually run, follow-ups carry due dates through the weeks when the volume is highest, and reminders go out on the channel a parent reads.

Consulting & Agencies

Proposals, and the account behind them

A practice sells to organisations, so the account matters more than the individual. Accounts carry billing and shipping profiles, an activity stream and their contacts; opportunities carry a value and a probability so the pipeline is weighted rather than gross. A won opportunity becomes a quote, and a quote becomes the retainer or invoice the engagement is actually billed on.

The customer record

The context, where the next person will look for it.

Deals are lost between conversations far more often than in them. What this covers is the gap: what was said, what was promised, and what is meant to happen next.

Leads with a source

Every enquiry captured with where it came from, so you can see which channels are producing work and which are producing activity.

Companies, not just people

Contacts linked to the company they work for, so an account's history survives a change of contact and several contacts stay together.

Stages you actually use

A pipeline defined around your own process, with each deal carrying its value and expected close date so the total is a number.

Every call and meeting logged

Activities recorded against the lead, contact or deal they concern, with a due date on the follow-up so the next step is not only remembered.

Notes on the record

What was said kept against the customer rather than in a chat thread, personal to you or shared with the named colleagues who need it.

Reminders that reach people

Attached to a sales, purchase or lead record and fired a set number of days ahead, by email, SMS, Slack, Telegram or WhatsApp, with delivery logged.

Our agents need to know what was discussed before making the next call. CRM, Notes, and Reminder in GetBizApps help us keep enquiry details and follow-ups organised as conversations progress.
Dhruv Shah — Sales Director, CedarGate Realty

From quote to order

The document chain, without the retyping.

A quotation, a sales order and an invoice are the same agreement described three times. The only reason they usually disagree is that a person typed each one.

Numbered, and quotable

Every quotation issued as QT-YYYY-MM-XXX, so the sequence is consistent, sortable and unambiguous when a customer rings about one.

Priced from real stock

Products selected from warehouse inventory with unit price populated and stock checked in real time, so you are not quoting what you cannot supply.

Revisions as versions

Changes kept in a parent-child relationship with automatic version numbers, so the original is preserved rather than overwritten.

Compare, and roll back

See exactly what changed between two versions, and restore an earlier one when the customer decides the first scope was right after all.

Approved before it is sent

Draft, sent, accepted and rejected, with an approval step before a quotation reaches the customer and an automated email on every status change.

Converted, not rebuilt

An accepted quotation becomes a sales invoice with its data intact, and in Sales the chain runs quote to sales order to sales invoice throughout.

Quotation and Sales help us keep customer enquiries, revised quotes, and orders organised. When a customer asks about an earlier offer, our team can follow the record instead of searching through email attachments.

Paying the people who sell

Worked out as the invoice posts.

Commission reconstructed at month end from sales records and half-remembered arrangements is where the arguments start. Two add-ons cover this, and the difference between them is how complicated your scheme is.

Plans that match the deal

A percentage of the sale, a fixed amount or a tiered rate, with as many plans running side by side as your agreements require.

Calculated on posting

A sales invoice posted with a plan and an agent assigned creates the commission record and the amount there and then, not at month end.

Approved before payable

Records reviewed and approved first, tracked from pending to paid, so commission has the same control as any other outgoing.

Gross, net or margin

For more involved schemes, Sales Agent calculates on gross sales, net sales or profit margin, with hybrid plans and seasonal campaign dates.

Floors and ceilings enforced

Minimum and maximum boundaries applied automatically, and tier validation that prevents overlapping bands or a gap in coverage.

Territories that mean something

Multi-level territories with their own codes and geographic areas down to postal code, with agents assigned and reported on by coverage.

Commission tracking used to create a lot of questions at month end. GetBizApps helps us organise invoice-based commissions alongside our accounting work, making the review process clearer for the team.

The sales review

The numbers, without the Sunday spreadsheet.

A sales review asks the same four questions every month. Once leads, quotes, orders, invoices and commission post to the same records, answering them is a filter rather than an evening.

Illustrative view — figures are examples, not customer data.

Pipeline, won and lost

Won, lost and ongoing deals with their values, progress and win rates, filterable by pipeline, stage or deal status.

Where deals are stalling

Progression and stall detection across the pipeline, so the question is which stage is holding rather than who is behind.

Quotation performance

Reporting on conversion rates and quotation performance, with a complete modification history carrying timestamps and user attribution.

What is still owed

The sales invoice report: customer bills, payments received and outstanding balances, filtered by customer, warehouse or month.

Your most valuable customers

Identification of the accounts worth strengthening, and early warning on the ones slowing down before they leave quietly.

Commission by agent

Filter by invoice, agent, plan, approval status or date, and payments by agent, status or date, to read who is actually performing.

What changes

The same jobs, done a different way.

Not a list of things we have — a comparison of how each job goes today against how it goes once sales runs on one set of records. The middle column names no vendor: it describes the shape of the work.

FAQ

Sales & CRM questions, answered.

CRM is the lighter record layer: leads with sources, contacts and companies, a stage-based deal pipeline, and logged activities and follow-ups. Sales is the full sales-operations module: accounts with billing and shipping profiles, opportunities carrying value and probability, and the quote to sales order to sales invoice chain with cases, document folders and a reporting dashboard. Teams selling to individuals usually need CRM; teams selling to organisations with formal paperwork usually need Sales.

Yes. The Quotation add-on selects products from warehouse inventory, populates the unit price automatically and checks stock in real time as the quotation is built, so a quote is not issued for something the warehouse cannot supply.

Those connectors exist in the catalog and are in development. They are built to sync with a CRM you already run rather than to replace this one, so a team committed to an external CRM can still use GetBizApps for quoting, invoicing and commission. Until they ship, the CRM and Sales add-ons are the pipeline.

Commission covers percentage, fixed and tiered plans calculated on posted sales invoices, with approval and pending-to-paid tracking — enough for most teams. Sales Agent adds hybrid plans, gross, net or profit-margin calculation methods, enforced minimum and maximum limits, multi-level territories down to postal code, partial payment allocation and a manager approval workflow before clearing.

Pricing is per add-on, per user and per term. A team running CRM and Quotation pays for those two; Sales, Commission, Sales Agent, Reminder and Form Builder are each separate and switched on only if you need them.

One platform, only the parts you run.

Start with this department and add the rest when the handover between two of them stops being an export. We will walk you through it on your own numbers.
