Plant Operator Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control plant machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Adjust controls and settings on machinery as needed.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain quality.
- Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a plant operator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of plant machinery and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
