Job Summary

A tax assistant is a valuable member of a tax team, providing support to tax management, assisting with data collection, tax computation, and identifying tax savings and credits. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining detailed records of all tax information, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Job Requirements

To succeed as a tax assistant, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven knowledge of tax accounting principles and tax filing procedures.
  • Excellent data entry and accounting skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping processes and financial record-keeping.
