Write a notice with a clear title and a full description in rich text, with formatting and links, so an announcement reads as something considered rather than a line in a chat window.
Attachments and visibility window
Attach the files or images the notice depends on, and set a start and expiry date so it appears when it is relevant and stops when it is not.
Audience targeting
Send a notice to specific users, to roles, or to whole departments, so people are not filtering announcements that were never meant for them.
Priority and critical alerts
Set a priority level on every notice. Critical ones appear as an instant pop-up alert, which is what stops an urgent message sitting unopened.
Drafts and publishing
New notices are saved as drafts first, visible only to the creator and managers, so wording can be settled before anyone else sees it.
Pinning and early deactivation
Pinned notices sit at the top of the board and stay there. A notice you no longer need can be stopped early without losing the record of it.
Acknowledgements
Where a notice has to be confirmed, a single acknowledgement click records that the person has read it — no reply-all chain to count through.
Read tracking and reporting
Unread notices carry a New badge and opening one marks it read, so every notice comes with clear read and acknowledgement numbers.
