Project Template
Turn a project you have already delivered into the starting point for the next one.
Project Template converts an existing project into a reusable template, with the components you choose carried across. Templates hold their own tasks, bugs and milestones, track completion on milestone progress bars, and convert back into a live project with the data relationships intact. It builds on the Project add-on.
Inside Project Template
What you get when you switch it on.
Project to template conversion
Convert an existing project into a reusable template and choose which components come across, so a delivered project becomes a standard rather than a one-off.
Template library
Search and filter templates by status and date with pagination, so a growing library stays usable rather than becoming a list to scroll.
Tasks
Create tasks with a title, description, high, medium or low priority, multiple assignees, a date range and a stage, shown in a table with priority badges.
Bug reports
Log bugs with the same fields as tasks and view them in the same organised table, so defects are tracked in the template rather than beside it.
Milestones
Create milestones with a title, a cost, start and end dates and a description, with overdue dates highlighted and status managed on each one.
Progress tracking
A 0–100% slider and a visual progress bar on each milestone, with milestone-based completion bars showing where a template stands overall.
Team and client assignment
Assign multiple team members and clients to a template, with confirmation prompts before the assignment is made.
Role-based permissions
Control who can create, edit and convert templates, so the standard library is not rewritten by everyone who opens it.

Where it earns its place
What teams switch Project Template on for.
01
Delivering the same project repeatedly
An implementation, a fit-out or an onboarding that runs the same way each time starts from a template instead of being rebuilt from memory.
02
Standardising how work is run
Tasks, bugs, milestones and stages come from the template, so two teams delivering the same thing deliver it the same way.
03
Cutting project setup time
Converting a template into a project preserves the data relationships, so the new project opens complete rather than as an empty shell.

How add-ons work
Project Template is not a separate app.
It runs inside GetBizApps Suite, on the same data, behind the same login.
01
Switch it on
Enable the add-on from your workspace. It appears alongside everything else already running — no separate install, no second login.
02
It shares your data
The add-on reads and writes the same customers, staff and records as the rest of the Suite, so nothing has to be re-keyed or synced.
03
Your roles still apply
Existing permissions carry across. Decide which teams see the add-on, and what they are allowed to do inside it.
04
Your price adjusts
It joins your subscription as one more enabled add-on, and comes off again if you turn it back off.

Why teams run on GetBizApps Suite.
These are customers talking about the Suite as a whole rather than the Project Template add-on specifically — every add-on runs on the same platform they are describing.
The biggest advantage for us is that we didn’t have to change our entire process. We enabled the modules we needed and gradually moved more departments into GBA Suites.
Our sales team loves the lead and pipeline view. Management loves the reports. Finance loves that invoices are already connected. Finally a system where departments are not working in separate silos.
The calendar, appointments and task modules helped us bring a lot of small daily processes under one roof. It sounds simple, but not having information scattered everywhere has made a huge difference.

Project Template questions.
What people ask before switching this one on.
You convert an existing project into a template and select which components are carried across. The template then holds its own tasks, bugs and milestones, and can be converted back into a live project later with all its data relationships preserved.
Yes. It depends on the Project add-on. If the Project add-on is disabled, Project Template will not function, because templates are built from projects and convert back into them.
Project Template is about reusing the structure of a whole project — its tasks, bugs, milestones, stages, team and client assignments — so the next delivery starts from a standard. To Do is the daily working list a person or team moves through, with priorities and durations. One supplies the plan; the other runs the day.
Tasks and bugs, each with a title, description, priority of high, medium or low, multiple assignees, a date range and a stage, shown together in a table with priority badges and coloured stage indicators. Milestones sit alongside them with a cost, start and end dates, a description and a 0–100% progress slider.
Access is governed by role-based permission controls, so you decide which people can build, edit and convert templates. Assigning team members and clients to a template is confirmed by a prompt before it takes effect.
Project Template is a GetBizApps Suite add-on that converts completed projects into reusable templates, so repeat work starts from a standard rather than from nothing. Templates carry selected components across, hold their own tasks and bugs with priorities, assignees, date ranges and stages, and milestones with costs, dates and a 0–100% progress slider, and convert back into a live project preserving all data relationships. It requires the Project add-on to be active. It is available at https://getbizapps.com/addons/project-template.
Project Template is billed as one of the add-ons in your GetBizApps Suite subscription. Your total is built from the add-ons you switch on, your number of users and the duration you commit to, in USD or INR. You can model it on the pricing page at https://getbizapps.com/pricing.
Project Template runs inside GetBizApps Suite, so you need the Suite itself. There is no separate installation or login — enable the add-on and it appears alongside everything else you are already running, on the same data and the same permissions.
Yes. Add-ons can be switched on and off as your needs change, and your subscription adjusts to match what is currently enabled.
