Communication
Coming soonWhatsApp Chat
Two-way WhatsApp conversations run from the portal — in development.
WhatsApp Chat is a Communication add-on currently in development for GetBizApps Suite. It is not available to switch on yet. Tell us if you need it and we will let you know as soon as it ships.
Not available yet
WhatsApp Chat is still in development.
You cannot switch this add-on on today, and it is not part of any GetBizApps Suite plan yet. This page is here so you know it is coming and can tell us if you need it — what customers ask for first is what gets built first.
What it will do
WhatsApp Chat will let you hold WhatsApp conversations directly inside GetBizApps: messages sent from the portal will appear in the customer's WhatsApp, and their replies will come back into the portal. Contacts will be created either by selecting an existing user or by entering the details by hand, sorted by recent activity and searchable, with the conversation recorded against them. Connecting will require a Client ID and an Access Token.

What people ask about an add-on that is still on the way.
It will let your team handle WhatsApp customer conversations from inside GetBizApps rather than from a phone. Incoming messages will sync into the portal instantly, and anything sent from the portal will appear in the customer's WhatsApp chat.
WhatsApp Chat is a two-way inbox for conversations: your team reads and answers what customers send. WhatsApp API and WhatsApp via Twilio are outbound notification tools, triggering automatic messages from events in the platform rather than holding a dialogue. Bizwachat, also in development, focuses on alerts for assignments, reminders and urgent updates.
Contacts will be created either by picking an existing user or by entering details manually. The contact list is planned to sort by recent activity and to be searchable, with each conversation tracked and recorded against the contact it belongs to.
Not yet. WhatsApp Chat is a Communication add-on in development for GetBizApps Suite and cannot be switched on today. Let the team know you need it at https://getbizapps.com/contact and we will tell you as soon as it ships.
WhatsApp Chat will be priced as one of the add-ons in your GetBizApps Suite subscription, alongside the ones you already have enabled. Your total is built from the add-ons you switch on, your number of users and the duration you commit to.
GetBizApps Suite has a catalog of add-ons available now covering CRM and sales, HR, finance, operations, documents, communication, security and payments. Browse them at https://getbizapps.com/addons, or tell us what you are trying to do and the team will point you at the closest fit.
