You cannot switch this add-on on today, and it is not part of any GetBizApps Suite plan yet. This page is here so you know it is coming and can tell us if you need it — what customers ask for first is what gets built first.
What it will do
Rotas will show every employee's schedule on a colour-coded calendar, with blue for working shifts, orange for day-offs and red for leave days, and monthly, weekly and daily views to switch between. Shifts will be defined with start times, end times and break periods marked paid or unpaid, night shifts flagged as such, and shift note visibility set to managers only, employees for their own shifts, or everyone; availability records with start and end dates will show each worker's available, scheduled and remaining hours so unavailable people are not scheduled. Branches, departments and designations will support planning across multiple locations centrally, using data from the HR module where it is enabled and working independently where it is not.

It will let you build and publish employee shift schedules on a colour-coded calendar, where blue shows working shifts, orange shows day-offs and red shows leave days. A dashboard will show total employees, created schedules, published rotas and pending assignments, with monthly, weekly and daily views.
Work shifts will be defined with start times, end times and break periods, with breaks marked as paid or unpaid to support accurate time tracking, and night shifts flagged. Working and non-working days will be set company-wide, with individual employee schedules created on top of that where someone's pattern differs.
No. Rotas will automatically use data from the HR module where that is available, but it will also function independently if the HR module is not enabled. It will organise employees into branches, departments and designations for planning across multiple locations.
