Time Tracker
Time recorded against the task, as the work happens.
Time Tracker starts and stops a timer on a specific task, records the exact start and end times and works out the total duration itself. Sessions can be reviewed and managed afterwards, and screenshots can be captured at an interval you choose during an active session. It requires the Project add-on, because time is always tracked against a project task.
Inside Time Tracker
What you get when you switch it on.
Task timers
Start a timer on an active task with a description of what is being done, and stop it when the work stops. No estimating at the end of the week.
Automatic duration
Exact start and end times are recorded and the total duration is calculated for you, so the number attached to a task is the one the clock produced.
Projects and tasks
Work is organised as projects containing tasks, with users assigned to the projects they are on — so tracked time lands against something identifiable.
Screenshot capture
During an active session the add-on can capture screenshots at an interval you set, giving a visual record alongside the elapsed time.
Screenshot controls
Captured screenshots can be reviewed and deleted individually, and a complete session record can be removed, so what is retained is a deliberate choice.
Session records
Every tracking session is stored with its detail, and the full history can be viewed and managed rather than just totalled.
Multi-user tracking
Each user runs their own tracking sessions, with real-time monitoring across the devices and platforms a team actually works on.

Where it earns its place
What teams switch Time Tracker on for.
01
Billable hours for client work
Agencies and freelancers bill from times the clock recorded against a named task, not from an estimate written up on Friday.
02
Knowing what a project actually cost
Because every session belongs to a task inside a project, the hours a project consumed are a record rather than a reconstruction.
03
Distributed teams
Sessions run across multiple devices and platforms with per-user tracking, so a spread-out team still produces one consistent set of times.

How add-ons work
Time Tracker is not a separate app.
It runs inside GetBizApps Suite, on the same data, behind the same login.
01
Switch it on
Enable the add-on from your workspace. It appears alongside everything else already running — no separate install, no second login.
02
It shares your data
The add-on reads and writes the same customers, staff and records as the rest of the Suite, so nothing has to be re-keyed or synced.
03
Your roles still apply
Existing permissions carry across. Decide which teams see the add-on, and what they are allowed to do inside it.
04
Your price adjusts
It joins your subscription as one more enabled add-on, and comes off again if you turn it back off.

Why teams run on GetBizApps Suite.
These are customers talking about the Suite as a whole rather than the Time Tracker add-on specifically — every add-on runs on the same platform they are describing.
Being able to customize fields and workflows was a big deal for us. Our business does not fit neatly into a standard CRM template, and GBA gave us enough flexibility.
We use the recurring invoice module for retainers and subscriptions. It reduced missed billing almost immediately.
GBA Suites feels less like one huge ERP and more like a collection of business apps that actually talk to each other. That’s exactly what we needed.

Time Tracker questions.
What people ask before switching this one on.
The Project add-on. Time Tracker records time against tasks that live inside projects, so if Project is disabled the add-on is non-operational. Once Project is enabled, users assigned to a project can start timers on its tasks.
It can. During an active tracking session the add-on captures screenshots at an interval you customise per user. Captured screenshots can be reviewed and deleted individually, and an entire session record can be removed, so what is kept is under your control.
The add-on records the exact start and end time of each session and calculates the total duration automatically. The user only starts and stops the timer and adds a description of what they were working on.
Yes. Each user has their own tracking sessions, and sessions are monitored in real time across multiple devices and platforms. Users are assigned to the projects they work on, which is what determines the tasks available to them.
Time Tracker is a live timer: someone starts it on a task, works, and stops it, and the duration is measured. Timesheet is the day-by-day ledger of hours, entered as an hour and minute split with a note, which can be fed from HRM attendance or project tasks or filled in by hand. One measures work as it happens; the other is the record of hours for the day.
Time Tracker is a GetBizApps Suite add-on that times work against project tasks: a user starts a timer with a description, the add-on records exact start and end times and calculates the total duration, and every session can be viewed and managed afterwards. It can capture screenshots at customisable intervals during an active session, with individual screenshots and whole session records available to review or delete, and it requires the Project add-on to function. It is available at https://getbizapps.com/addons/time-tracker.
Time Tracker is billed as one of the add-ons in your GetBizApps Suite subscription. Your total is built from the add-ons you switch on, your number of users and the duration you commit to, in USD or INR. You can model it on the pricing page at https://getbizapps.com/pricing.
Time Tracker runs inside GetBizApps Suite, so you need the Suite itself. There is no separate installation or login — enable the add-on and it appears alongside everything else you are already running, on the same data and the same permissions.
Yes. Add-ons can be switched on and off as your needs change, and your subscription adjusts to match what is currently enabled.
